We are dedicated to helping you reach your musical goals! Our mission is to teach music to people of all ages who wish to learn for professional reasons or for personal enjoyment and entertainment. Private music instruction is the best way to learn music where students will make rapid progress through the use of proven and effective teaching methods.

The director of AMI is Allen Autry Jr. Allen holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from Florida Atlantic University and has taken additional courses at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Allen has been actively instructing many adults and children in the Broward County area for several years.

MASTER CLASSES

We have a standardized curriculum with certificates awarded. It is not mandatory but very effective in helping students become better musicians. Our Recording Studio is also available to students along with Master Classes from amazing musicians.

Some of the instruments we teach

Guitar

All styles of guitar our taught here including Rock, Jazz, Classical, Flamenco, Country, Blues, Funk and Ukelele. From Van Halen to Segovia, Hendrix to Charlie Christian – String it up let’s PLAY!

Piano & Keyboard

Our piano teachers will help you learn your favorite songs and styles including Pop, Classical, Jazz, Rock, Blues, Latin and Gospel. Whether your into Billy Joel or Beethoven we can help you get there.

Vocals

Vocal training can be be produce amazing results with the right guidance. Theory and technique are taught through performance driven methods. All vocal styles depend on this. Taylor Swift and Michael Jackson had to start somewhere.

Strings

Violin, Viola and Cello lessons are taught here for school orchestras and personal enjoyment. Stringed instruments can be beautiful soothing sounds to our ears. It takes a little practice and dedication.

Brass/Woodwinds

Saxophones can really sing when played just right. Tenor, Alto, Soprano, and Baritone lessons are available as well as Trumpet and Trombone. Miles Davis and John Coltrane didn’t get there in a day but they got there and so can you.

Drums

Drumset and Snare drum are taught here. Rudiments along with reading music are essential to developing the skills needed to master drum rhythms and all styles. Playing drums is very therapeutic and can help your coordination in other areas of life.
